100% Wood, Natural and Sustainable

In order to create a timeless product designed to last, Studio Hausen only uses carefully selected solid woods from sustainable forests. The shelves are never exposed to harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde and other harmful substances.

For the surface treatment, water-based lacquers are used. Each shelf is unique, as the growth of every tree is by nature individual. The character of these hand crafted products will continue to develop further as they age.

Studio Hausen process solid wood, not board material, this difference can be seen and felt. Their responsibility begins with the careful selection of their woods, which are prepared in the sawmill and are given their final polish in the joinery.
