This is Mathilde Cabanas, the French & fun lifestyle brand based between Paris and Nantes.

What do they do? Accessories, stationery, clothes for the young and old, umbrellas, doormats (yes, yes!), bags, and lots of Bisou: they remake little everyday objects with the joyful and mischievous illustrations of Mathilde.

Mathilde Cabanas was founded by — drum roll — … Mathilde Cabanas! The adventure began in 2013 when Mathilde, an illustrator by training, created her first birthday cards and invitations for Bonton. First collab with her – now-famous – Bisou, first successes, the Mathilde Cabanas range is developing little by little and so are the points of sale.

And as the crazier they are, the merrier, in 2017, Alexandra Remise joined her to partner up and together send the Bisou to the Moon! Mathilde takes care of AD, product design, the production line, and relations. She likes Pan Con Tomate, the circus, and funny nail polish colors.

Alexandra manages marketing and communication, partnership development, and the e-shop. She loves singing Dalida during karaoke nights, very thin sliced sausage and puns.

Know-how and fun to know

Their products are their babies. They pamper them, they want them to be beautiful, so that you like them and that they are kind to the planet! So they take the time to do things right.

Their suppliers are scrupulously chosen in order to benefit from the best materials and thus ensure you an impeccable product that will make you super happy. All textiles are made in Portugal, in very soft organic cotton, very soft, posters and stationery are made in France (#cocoricool), with recycled paper, bags and linens are made in India in FaireTrade factories.

That being said, what they like above all is to enjoy… Life of course, but also and above all with you! They have a blast imagining future products that will please you and producing content to make you laugh.
